Best 360 Game?

I ended up with some extra cash a few months ago, so I sprung for a 360.
I'm too cheap to buy a lot of games (I always wait till they go way down in price)  And I had my regular X Box games, But I wanted to get one new game.

I heard a lot of people say that Gears of War was the best X Box 360 game.  Personally I'm not super impressed.   I don't love the game play, I hate the grenade handling, and the whole game is grey.  (I am constantly shooting my own people--they look the same as the bad guys)

The graphics are phenomenal, and it is a decent game... but I would have rather waited and paid $30 instead of the initial $70. 

So what is the best game?

I have not played it before, but almost everyone I know loves Guitar Hero II!  Also you can see the critics Top Xbox 360 Games at Metacritic.



Well you already mentioned Gears of War so besides that my very favorite games for the Xbox 360 are as follows:

1.  Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2
2.  Burnout Revenge
3   Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter
4.  Forza 2 (with racing wheel)
5.  Viva Pinata (my wife even loves this one )
6.  Tony Hawk Project 8 (If you are fan of the Tony Hawk series this one is the best. )
7.  Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
8.  Call of Duty 2
9.  Rainbow Six: Vegas
10.  Lost Planet 
11.  NBA Street Homecourt

The great thing about the above list is that all of these games have a demo on Xbox Live.  Also the majority of them can be found for around $30!

Upcoming Games I am most excited for:

1.  Medal of Honor: Airborne
2.  Burnout Paradise
3.  Battlefield: Bad Company
4.  Virtua Fighter 5
5.  Bioshock
6.  Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 (Photo Game Face )
7.  Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Halo 3....meh.  Maybe I will get it.

I think that the downloads are great.  A lot of games that I wouldn't ever try to buy, I have played and found really fun.  Or games that I thought would be fun... I found out werent.

Also, Assassin's Creed is going to rock.

If I had a stomach for horror I would probably say BioShock as well.  But I will always love GRAW, GRAW2, and Gears of War.

id say the best game on the xbox has got to be halo 3 its amazing!!!
