Sound in Windows Vista

I have been having problems with my integrated sound card on board my ASUS P5SD2-X motherboard and Asus doesn't have any new drivers for vista and the old ones don't work.  Vista Update didn't find anything for it either so I am still without sound on my Vista OS.  If you have heard of anything like this or have found a driver for this issue please let me know.

So I called up ASUS tech support because that is the manufacture of my motherboard and my sound card is on board and they said that they chipset for my motherboard will not have any driver support for Windows Vista.  It looks like this might be the case for several other sound cards from what I have read on forums and such.  It looks like I will have to get a 3rd party sound card to be able to have sound in Windows Vista.  Very Annoying!
