I recently purchased the pcmcia - express card adapter for my laptop. The software that came with it only is for Windows XP and not for vista. Do you really have to purchase the windows vista software for $29.00 to have unlimited use.

Please help.

Are you referring to the Duel-Systems PCMCIA to Expresscard adapter?  That adapter does not require any software besides the drivers.  All of the drivers are free to download.

What software is it that you are referring to?  what is it called?  Did it come with the adapter itself or with the card you are using the adapter with?
