I need something to play on my dated pc. :/

I've got a friend of mine running over Sacred and it's expansion which looks rather fun,

and very much like Diablo 2 (one of my favorite games ever)... but..

right now I'm just kind of out of things to play, and I need ideas.

There's a lot of good classic games.  Sacred and it's add-on were definitely some pretty fun games.  In some ways I even liked them more than Diablo 2.

If you like RTS games Red Alert 2, Command and Conquer: Generals, Age of Empires II are all really good games.  If you like FPS games go play Soldier of Fortune 2, Half-Life 2, Far Cry, Unreal 2, Unreal 2003/2004. (depending on your computer's video card, you may be able to play some of those.  They're all a few years old)  If you like 3rd person games, Hitman 2 and Prince of Persia: sands of time, are really good games.  Then you've got some older RPG games like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Jade Empire.  Those are really fun.

I would have to agree with Bob there, counter strike is a fantastic game. Its a bit old but it will never die just due to the fact that it does'nt need to get any better!!!
