What is Shivan?

Hey I noticed that one of the member names is Shivan. What is Shivan? I started to look it up and found some interesting stuff. Check out what Wikipidia has to say about it. I don't think that is what he meant by his name, although I could be wrong. What do you think it means?

Hi,
If this belongs to India then it surely means shiva ( a hindu deity,having garland of snake in neck. It is common in India to give name after the god ,there are several names related to god Shiva that are commonly used in India ,some of them are enlisted as follows
Shankar,shiv,Shambhu ,Tryambakam,Rudra etc.
