I'm thinking of buying this product so I can transfer files from my old PC's to my new one. Does the software have to be installed on both? The old ones only have floppy drives (one has a CD drive but it doesn'twork anymore) and no internet connection. I bought PCmover but haven't received it yet and after reading more about it, I don't think it is going to help me. Thanks.
FastLynx does have to be installed on both computers. FastLynx 3.3 includes a floppy version of the software so that it can be installed on computers that do not have CD-ROM drives. So that should allow you to make the transfer between the two computers.
