I got the USB to serial cable that I use on a Dell Laptop with XP on for software.  Loaded the driver and it recognize my cable.  My problem is that when I attached a card reader to it, it find the reader but will not read the card, tried to change the delay but still no luck.

What kind of card reader are you using?  Also, does the card reader have it's own specific software for reading the cards?  if it does, what COM ports does it look at for the device?
