Problem:
There are so many people that have called us saying they just got a new computer and it only has usb ports and no parallel ports. They still have their older printer that uses parallel so they have no way to connect it.
Solution:
As long as the printer is not an all in one printer (ex: does scan and/or fax) you can adapt the printer to the computer using our
USB to Parallel adaptor so you can still use your older printer. Unfortunately if your printer is a multifunction printer you can't adapt it using just the cable adaptor.
If you have a desktop then you can use a
Parallel PCI card. If you have a Laptop then you can use a
PCMCIA parallel card.
If you have a Multifunction printer and a new laptop that only has the new express slot in it then I am really sorry but we haven't found a solution to this problem yet. If you know of anything please let us know.
