I just bought an Intellinet Extended Range Wireless USB Adapter from Sewell to hopefully improve the wireless connection to my wife's laptop (a Dell Inspiron 1100, three or four years old), which resides at the other end of our crazy house from my desktop/wireless router. The connection has always been marginal with the current wireless card. I had all sorts of problems installing the driver which came with the product -- it froze on me a couple of times. I downloaded the driver packet from the Sewell website and that seemed to install, but now I'm getting a blue screen of death on the laptop, which I've *never* seen before in XP. The title or label of the blue screen is DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Can someone help me make sense of this and get this thing working?
